On December 27th, 2019, the final episode (25) of TVB’s Wonder Women aired and due to some scenes not making the final cut, fans following the series naturally had questions. Pakho Chau who played Wing Ho Tin in the series answered some of the fans’ questions and comments on his Instagram story on December 28th, 2019. Here are the screenshots and their respective translations.
Guess what? We are not the only ones having withdrawal symptoms. The actors and actresses are also feeling the same after the drama aired the final episode last night. Pakho is listening to songs of the series. He sang the subtheme song titled 讓愛高飛 (Free My Love). What are you doing to cope with the end of this series?
Q: I actually want to know how did Jonathan (Jonathan Wong) die? How come the water suddenly turned red after he jumped in and then he injured his head while Ngan Zing Gung (Maggie Yu) lost a leg?
A: The actual script: her wedding dress caught onto the boat’s motor and then he was hit by the motor’s fan blades.
Q: I want to know if Wing Ho Ting (Pakho Chau) is Jonathan’s long lost twin brother?
A: The actual script: I am not. From a young age, Jonathan and I were raised by Lady Mui (Lily Leung). She always treated me like a biological son. For all these years, she always felt bad for not being able to find the twin. That is why she took care of me as the missing twin brother to overcome the lost. But the unfortunate thing is, we were missing one again after Jonathan’s death. Telling her we were going to the UK signified I have grown up.
Q: Why is it already the ending 😭
A: Sigh.
Q: How can you change earrings so quickly?
A: Haha, use some imagination. With magic, isn’t it more romantic?
*Drawings don’t have to be drawn completely. Putting on an earring doesn’t have to be filmed.
Q: So does Lam Fei (Miriam Yeung) have the custody of Kai Kai (Yuen Tin Bo)?
A: That’s a great question. Yes, in the last scene, the voiceover indicates that Lam Fei is with Kai Kai.
Q: How come Tam Sin Hung’s character never appeared?
A: I want to film with Auntie Yung (that’s her role in A Kindred Spirit. As a respected veteran actress, she often visits different sets and she previously visited the cast on set) 😍😍
Q: Can you explain the conversations on the escalator and cart noodles, what exactly do they mean?
A: To give a positive outlook. Cart noodles give people a “messy” feeling but as long as it was created from the heart, it can become delicious food.
Q: How come the scene with Oppa (Pakho Chau) running with roses to chase Lam Fei wasn’t there? Wasn’t it filmed 😢?
A: Dear, thank you for watching the promo clip, but we specifically filmed that only for promotional purposes. And that is not part of the plot, it is a new way of promoting.
Q: Did you actually contact Lam Fei in these 6 years?
A: No contact, because we agreed that if I came back one day after graduating and we still wore the earring, it proved that we still loved one another.
Q: What is the meaning of ‘3 in exchange for 1’?
A: I kiss you 3 times, you kiss me 1 time. 😘😘😘
Q: I want to know if Gim Hung (Raymond Wong) went to jail.
A: Yes, ICAC arrested him.
*Looks like you need to hurry and rewatch.
Q: Do you know you have done an excellent job and improved a lot?
A: Thank, haha 🤡.
Q: Hurry up and have the sold out Catxman items back in stock!
A: There is!
Q: I want to ask, how come Kai Kai changed so fast 🙃?
A: It’s been six years. He went from 6 years old to 12 years old, he should look different 😏.
Q: How come Oppa still looks so handsome after 6 years?
A: 😏
It’s been forever long since I was ‘addicted’ to a TVB drama. I am already missing the void of Oppa and Lam Fei!! If there’s a sequel with the original sequel, count me in as a viewer and fan!
