In episode 28 of My Unfair Lady, Saving Cheng (Vincent Wong) re-encounters Cherry Ling (Natalie Tong) after waiting for two years. He sees a ring on her middle finger and she gives him back his HKD10 coin, signifying their end.
Cherry: I saw you chasing the car before, are you ok?
Saving: I’m ok. I’m ok.
Cherry: I saw your advertisement. Congratulations, you have finally accomplished something to make the world a little different. Bobby will be proud.
Saving: Thank you. I created the wristband to tell the person I cared about how they are. How have you been recently?
Cherry: I went back to Canada to visit my parents. I saw my old friends, I’m very happy.
Saving: I want to give you something. This is the first Bobby Band I created. I have always been waiting to give you this.
Cherry: Since it’s the first one, don’t give it to me. You should keep it.
Saving: No, take it.
Cherry: You keep it.
Saving: I’ll buy it. But… do you accept HKD10?
Cherry: I’ll take it. I’m going to take the cab.
Saving: Ok. Bye.
In episode 27 of My Unfair Lady, Gordon Man (Frankie Lam) challenges Molly Ling (Jessica Hsuan) to throw away their wedding ring, but he tells her he will not find it this time, signifying if she throws it away, they will come to an end. However, instead of following Tian Mi (Samantha Ko) to find Kwok Li, Gordon goes to Molly instead, keeping his promise not to leave her alone again.
Gordon: Trust is the most basic foundation for two people being together. Since you don’t trust me, throw it away. But let me tell you, this time when you throw [the ring] away, I will definitely not find it.
Molly: You feel I won’t throw it away?
Gordon: Of course you will. What are you not afraid of? It’s not like you haven’t tried throwing it. Throw it.
Molly: It’s not like this is the first time you’ve left me anymore.
Tian Mi: Let’s go.
Gordon: You go find Kwok Lik yourself.
In episode 26 of My Unfair Lady, Tian Mi (Samantha Ko) challenges Molly Ling (Jessica Hsuan) by telling her she does not mind sharing Gordon Man (Frankie Lam) with her.
Molly: Tell me, why are we meeting up?
Tian Mi: I want to join your [matchmaking] app and become a member.
Molly: You cannot find a boyfriend?
Tian Mi: It’s a shame that the man I like has been stolen by someone else.
Molly: Correct, if he is someone else’s man, you should stop bothering him. But if you want to be a member, you can just fill out the form online. Looks like you have more to tell me today.
Tian Mi: Of course, I want to make a deal. I want to share Gordon with you.
In episode 25 of My Unfair Lady, Molly Ling (Jessica Hsuan) weds Gordon Man (Frankie Lam). Molly admits her bad traits, while Gordon is willing to accept her for who she is.
Molly: Actually, you are very good. It’s my problem. I know my temper isn’t good and my personality is blunt. I am afraid I will argue with you and I cannot control myself.
Gordon: No matter how good a couple’s temper is, they will still argue. They can adjust to each other. Besides, I never asked you to change anything.
Molly: Thank you.
Gordon: We got back together after so many years of separation because of love. It’s because we really deeply love one another. Right? So we should really make our relationship last.
In episode 24 of My Unfair Lady, Cherry Ling (Natalie Tong) decides to leave Saving Cheng (Vincent Wong), leaving him with only a voice message.
Cherry: Did you know you sing very well? Last night, I could not sleep. All that was in my mind were the songs you sang. If possible, I want to continue listening to them. But, I have to leave. I know, you will ask me why. But actually, your father was unhappy at the end. He kept repeating his last words: son, don’t give up. Sorry, I am very selfish. I once wanted to just pretend as if I didn’t hear of it. But is that how loving one person should be? If I don’t have the ability to make you better, I should give you freedom to do the things you want. I could not make the decision, so I gave it to God to help me make the decision. I know marriage to you has given you a lot of stress. I thank you for trying your hardest. And I know you have never given up on developing a business. You can do it! This HKD10 coin, I won’t return to you. I’ll owe you for life.
In episode 23 of My Unfair Lady, Gordon Man (Frankie Lam) consults Saving Cheng (Vincent Wong), telling him marriage does not require a reason.
Saving: Gordon, why did you promise to get married to Molly?
Gordon: Getting married doesn’t require a reason.
Saving: Did you know you getting married also affects me?
Gordon: You are funny. How does me getting married affect you? I am not moving in with you. If you don’t have money, you can just not give us a wedding present. I will still allow you to come eat, ok?
Saving: It’s not about the present. You, Gordon, are the representative of playboys. What does you getting married represent? All men in the word can get married, they all need to get married. I am not ready. Did you know when Cherry told me you and Molly were getting married, she looked at me with teary eyes, as if she wanted to marry me right away. I… how can I reject her?
Gordon: She looked at you with teary eyes, but if you don’t have feel, you can reject her, right?
Saving: Plus Molly, she kept pressuring me with words. How can I say no?
Gordon: Ok, do you love her?
Saving: I love her, but love doesn’t represent everything right? I want to start a company, but I haven’t been able to do that. You’ve achieved some fame, but I haven’t yet. You were once rich, but I haven’t tried yet. And then what? When I get married, I need to take care of an entire family. It is not an easy thing. I also need to take care of her family. My family can easily have another two kids. It takes HKD 4 million to raise a kid. Where am I going to find that money?
Gordon: Then based on your understanding, I should not get married. I lost a high paying job. I even lost my apartment now. Then how can I get married? The problem is you need to have confidence in yourself first. Let’s go back to the first point. Do you love her? Do you want to get married with her?
In episode 22 of My Unfair Lady, Mico Wen (Mico Cheung) recalls the time her cousin Saving Cheng (Vincent Wong) ran to Taiwan to escape marrying his girlfriend.
Cherry: Actually, I wanted to tell you, nowadays, there is only a small amount of men who want to get married. Your… the one who wants to get married with you, would you consider him?
Mico: No, because I think two people who are in love do no necessarily have to get married. That’s how my cousin feels. Even if you are together with him, he has not mentioned getting married or anything. Plus, before my cousin had a girlfriend who forced him to get married. Then he got so scared and ran to Taiwan to find me. God, that time was so scary. My cousin is someone who cannot get married.
Mico: Then… what are you going to do?
