In episode 20 of My Unfair Lady, Saving Cheng (Vincent Wong) and Cherry Ling (Natalie Tong) are forced to be interviewed by Hanson Ho (Chris Lai). Just as Saving is confronting Hanson, the boss Mr. Yau (Andrew Yuen) walks in and Saving turns to confront him instead.
Saving: It’s all your this boss’ fault. You are the good person and you are the bad person. You think you are everything for being a boss? You kicked Gordon out and forced Molly to leave. And now even forced Annie to give up on her son?
Mr. Yau: I am the boss. I have money. I can play it any way I want. You are receiving my salary, so you must do what I want you to do. Even if I gave you a piece of poop, you have to eat it.
Saving: It’s not like I’ve never ate poop before. I do as I’m told. I work night and day only to make a few thousand. It’s not like I haven’t ate it before. But these people, do they know rental and business management? They only give up some money and time to fire some and raise some and tell others to do this and that. Is that fair? Go outside and ask some people. Find anyone to ask what they want, and they will answer you they only want a secure job. Why do they have to use an entire lifetime to find a secure job? Because there are rich people like you. The richer you are, the more games you play! Is this world fair? Is this world fair?
Mr. Yau: Are you out of your mind?
Saving: Let me teach you how to be a boss. You need to be socially responsible as a boss, take care of your employees, and change the world a bit.
