Episode 16: Henry Ching (Chung King Fai)“Hazel, the chair of the company is not the king. The judge has to listen to the jury, and cannot be a dictator.”
-Although he has not worked on a case since many years ago, Henry (Chung King Fai) still takes every opportunity to take the chair’s seat. When KC (Liu Kai Chi) wants to kick Kent (Alex Fong) out, he assures Hazel (Ali Lee) that she cannot have a say in everything, knowing she wants to keep Kent in the company.
Episode 17: Danielle Lok (Griselda Yeung)“Four years ago, you indirectly caused me to lose my daughter. Can you help me today?”
-Danielle (Griselda Yeung) begs Kent (Alex Fong) to help her fiancee Michael Yip (Ram Chiang) on his case. Because of this, it is exposed that Kent indirectly caused the death of their daughter when he left her in the car to pick up some groceries, but was ran over by a car and was not able to go back to the car until six hours later, and by that time, their daughter already died.
Episode 18: Kent Cheung (Alex Fong)“Are rules more important or is timing more important?”
-With KC (Liu Kai Chi) is accused of pushing Sandy (Yeewan Ho) down the stairs, Kent (Alex Fong) suggests Hazel (Ali Lee) to kick him out at the next meeting, but she refuses, wanting to play it fair. Kent worries they might not have another chance after that.
Episode 19: KC Lau (Liu Kai Chi)“If I guessed right, when you visited your father in jail, he must have told you to be cautious of two people: one being me and two being Henry. Right? Even if you don’t believe me, you should believe your father.”
-KC (Liu Kai Chi) indirectly asks Hazel (Ali Lee) to vote Henry (Chung King Fai) to go on permanent leave after he is charged for pushing Sandy (Yeewan Ho) down the stairs. He gives her a psychological talk, asking her to think how her father Charles (Lau Dan) would decide if he were in the office, knowing Henry contributed to Charles going to jail.
Episode 20: Martha Fong (Mandy Wong)“I want to tell you, I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with you under the same firm again. I never thought I would be able to work on the same case as you. Did you know, the one thing I regretted most in life is not being able to officially call myself your apprentice.”
-After KC (Liu Kai Chi) gives Duncan (Raymond Cho) and Martha (Mandy Wong) to decide among themselves to who would stay and continue working at Donald & Co. under him, Martha takes the initiative to leave. Walking in the rain, she calls her ex-mentor Kent (Alex Fong), noting she regrets not being able to officially call him her mentor. But she also knows she is free of KC’s control now.
