Episode 06: KC Lau (Liu Kai Chi)“Kent, are you using yearly business profits to influence the committee’s decision?”
-KC (Liu Kai Chi) always uses his profits from the cases he accept to threaten the Donald & Co. committee, so when Kent (Alex Fong) mentions the firm will obtain a HKD 300 million future profit, equivalent to their whole year’s worth of profits from five companies, if Hazel (Ali Lee) becomes committee president, KC gets furious.
Episode 07: Duncan Yam (Raymond Cho)“We came together on the boat. But the present is not the same as the past. The present is filled with winds and waves. If we do not hold each other’s hands tightly, we will easily fall in the water. Am I correct?”
-After KC (Liu Kai Chi) finds out that Martha (Mandy Wong) helped Kent (Alex Fong) on one of the cases, he takes away all her cases on hand as a punishment and gives them to Duncan (Raymond Cho). On one of the cases where Martha serves as assistant to Duncan, he tells her they must work together to stay in the company. His intentions are unclear.
Episode 08: Kent Cheung (Alex Fong)“She has to come up with a miracle to show all the people of Hong Kong. My responsibility is to help her achieve that miracle.”
-Although Kent (Alex Fong) did a lot of investigation behind Hazel’s (Ali Lee) back, he did not want her to know all that he did. He secretly went to find his ex-wife and prosecutor for the case Danielle (Griselda Yeung) to tell her his findings and successfully persuaded her to change the charge to a minor one.
Episode 09: Kent Cheung (Alex Fong)“I wanted to let you know, I chose you [to work with] not for any special reason. Only because you are the fittest match.”
-Since KC (Liu Kai Chi) purposely switched Nick (Matthew Ho) to help with the IPO, Kent chooses to work with his ex-trainee Martha (Mandy Wong) for the new case. However, he assures her he chose her only because he felt she was a fit for the role, and not anything else.
Episode 10: Martha Fong (Mandy Wong)“Before, if I encountered a case that was tricky, I would think, if Kent was handling the case, what would he do?”
-Hazel (Ali Lee) consults Martha (Mandy Wong) for advice to tackle her case. She suggests she puts herself in Kent’s shoes to think. This results in Hazel going around asking people what kind of a person Kent is.
