Episode 16: Luck (Matt Yeung)“Life will not always be so dull. It has been dark for so long, sunset is bound to come.”
-Luck (Matt Yeung) comforts Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) in Thailand after they fail to find her husband Lung Fei (Louis Yuen) after his flight goes missing. Luck tells her his life story: a struggling childhood after the death of his parents and a wrong decision to punch someone after a loss in illegal car racing resulted him in jail. It was not until he met Sam (Ruco Chan) and Lo Wai Son (Edwin Siu) that he realized there were good people in the world that cared for him and were worth him caring for. He tells her hope remains in life.
Episode 17: Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin)“Why does everyone think he is dead? He is not dead!”
-Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) angrily storms into Lo Wai Son’s (Edwin Siu) room, thinking he is buying out her husband Lung Fei’s (Louis Yuen) shares of his advertising company. Yiu Man Ying does not want to accept that her husband is dead, although it has been over a month since the disappearance of the flight and the airline is willing to pay a large sum of money to the family members of those on the plane.
Episode 18: Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin)“I think this is all fate. At the time when I felt most desperate, I helped to deliver a new life. A new life is new hope.”
-Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) accepts the fact that her husband Lung Fei (Louis Yuen) might be dead after she helps to deliver employee Lam Suk Ha’s (Meini Cheung) baby. She knows she cannot be stubborn forever and tries to look at things in a different perspective.
Episode 19: Shum Mei Wah (Jade Leung)“She’s a businesswoman too. It’s about the money. She must be willing to make money.”
-Shum Mei Wah (Jade Leung) wants to meet with Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin), asking to buy her parents-in-law’s old apartment in Hong Kong so they can have 80% of the property and therefore the right to tear it down for new construction. Little does she know how stern Yiu Man Ying is when it comes to ethics and morals, especially since she is the wife of Ko Tin Tsau (Hugo Ng).
Episode 20: Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin)“With a person like Ko Tin Tsau (Hugo Ng), you can’t play law with him. Let’s see if he would rather have reputation or money.”
-Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) and Lo Wai Son (Edwin Siu) team up with the other tenants to fight against Ko Tin Tsau (Hugo Ng), knowing he forced them to sell their apartments at a price lower than market rate. Lo Wai Son devises a plan to storm into his press conference, asking him to respond to such matter in front of reporters.
