Episode 01: Lo Fu Shing (Lau Kong)“It’s all your fault, asking her to stay there and serve her “immigration sentence”… Over there, I am disabled: cannot see, cannot hear, cannot speak, cannot write, and cannot go anywhere. What is the difference with being a disabled person?”
-Lo Fu Shing (Lau Kong) is disappointed to know that his wife is not coming back to Hong Kong with his son because of visa issues, noting the problems of many people migrating to a new country. The language barrier prevents many from having a social life.
Episode 02: Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin)“There are no principles in the world. The wealthy uses their money to shut the mouth of others! Me… I just wanted to stand up and be a witness but now seen as the bad person!”
-Yiu Man Ying (Kristal Tin) is pissed that despite deciding to point out that Pi Ko (Steven Cheung) is the intoxicated driver, his wealthy father Ko Tin Tsau (Hugo Ng) probably gave some money to the taxi driver, the victim to take care of the incident. Although in many societies, there is a law system, it is no doubt the wealthy has more say in that society.
Episode 03: Sam Kiu (Ruco Chan)“Success depends on luck, and luck may not follow you for life.”
-Sam (Ruco Chan) starts to investigate Ko Tin Tsau’s (Hugo Ng) illegal online gambling system, wanting his younger brother Lo Wai Son (Edwin Siu) to have something on hand in case Ko Tin Tsau really takes further action on them. However, Lo Wai Son disagrees, knowing as long as he does business following his good heart, he will be fine. But Sam thinks his good luck and fortune might not follow him forever, as there can be other obstacles that come in the way.
Episode 04: Sam Kiu (Ruco Chan)“Yes, it will just be according to me! If you want to continue to play on, I do not mind dying with you!”
-Sam (Ruco Chan) goes to find Ko Tin Tsau (Hugo Ng) and threatens him to stop giving troubles to his younger brother Lo Wai Son (Edwin Siu), or else he will reveal all his illegal activities to the media and possibly the police. He does not mind pushing him to a dead end because Sam has already served his sentence in jail and had already reached the lowest point of his life, and therefore has nothing to lose.
Episode 05: Rachel Cheuk (Linda Chung)“I know you will say you will take care of me for life. But I am different now. I am a disabled person. You still have a lot of hopes and dreams to fulfill. I do not want to be your burden. Pretend I am dead. I rather you be sad for a short period of time than for you to be in pain for the rest of your life.”
-Sam (Ruco Chan) finally finds Rachel (Linda Chung) in Okinawa, Japan. He finds out a car accident three months ago caused her lower body to be disabled and very small chances of her walking again. Rachel tries to get her sister Emily (Leanne Li) to lie to Sam that she got married to someone else already. But after finding out that she still and only loves Sam, Emily tells Sam that she died in the car accident. Upon seeing her disabled, Sam proposes to Rachel and tells her he will still love her regardless and promises to take care of her. The two finally wed after more than two decades of love.
