Zhao Mosheng (Tiffany Tang) and He Yichen (Wallace Chung) continue to reminisce about their past: Mosheng stalking Yichen and proudly showing him the picture she took of him, Mosheng tell him the meaning behind his name and Yichen climbing the chair to escape from her in the study hall, Yichen deciding she is to be his girlfriend and then them holding hands for the first time, Yichen and Mosheng riding a bike together, Yichen instructing her how his name is properly written, Mosheng skipping and hopping as she counts the concrete pavements, Mosheng being embarrassed in a law class becuase Yichen would not help her answer the question, and Yichen kissing Mosheng after finding out she did not get him a birthday present. But what if Mosheng never went to the United States? Yichen would have graduated, with Mosheng being a senior in college. Yichen would have rented an apartment nearby his internship and invited Mosheng to live with him. Mosheng might not have found a job after graduation, but instead would have helped to decorate their new apartment because that year Yichen worked on a case and would have earned enough to pay the down payment. Yichen would have proposed to Mosheng. And when would they have had a baby?
Mosheng asks Yichen again, when should they have a baby. Yichen answers later on. But if their imaginations really happened, Yichen would have never walked past Mosheng at the supermarket. Their lives would have been vastly different. They would have had a smooth love relationship, with no misunderstandings and no time wasted. Yichen hugs Mosheng tightly, knowing they have come a long way. Lu Yuanfeng (Yang Le) tells Mosheng he must accompany Xiao Xiao (Viola Mi) to see the gynecologist. Yichen and Mosheng visit Xiao Xiao and Yuanfeng, who are already parents to one son. Xiao Xiao exclaims she had just made a comeback, but is pregnant once again! Xiao Xiao wonders why Yichen does not want to have kids, even when he is particularly good at feeding her son. When they leave, Mosheng asks Yichen if he has been affected by his parents and therefore does not like kids. Yichen’s answer is something Mosheng did not expect: they just got back together, so he wants to spend some quality time together, just the two of them. But he says if Mosheng wants to have kids, they’ll leave it up to fate.
A while later, Mosheng takes a home pregnancy test. Yichen happily calls Yuan Fei (Lin Peng) to tell him he will need to spend more time to take care of his pregnant wife, informs Professor Chau of the good news, and calls Xiao Xiao asking to borrow the books she read during her pregnancy. As Mosheng and Yichen hug each other, Mosheng tells him reconnecting with him already seemed perfect, but now with a baby on the way, she feels her life is complete. When they go shopping for baby things, it is obvious that Mosheng wants a daughter and Yichen wants a son. When Mosheng gives birth to a son, they look at the sunlight shining through the window, and name him “何照” (“He Zhao”), meaning the sun is shining. He Yimei (Joyce Jian) discovers it sounds like the last name of Yichen and Mosheng, with Yichen saying it is just a pure coincidence. He Zhao is Yichen’s little sunshine, just like his mother Mosheng. Three years later, the happy family of three go back to the university where Yichen and Mosheng had met. If Mosheng had not taken the first picture, there would not have been their story and definitely would not have had He Zhao.
