He Yichen (Wallace Chung) finds Zhao Mosheng (Tiffany Tang) sitting at his apartment door. She asks if he is taking her back and tugs onto his sleeve, but he lets go. Inside his apartment, he asks if she is telling him to be her secret lover since she is married. She lets him know she has divorced. When she leaves, he insists on sending her home, for the last time in their lives. Yichen tells her he will give her an answer the next day. That night, both of them think back to what had just happened.
The next morning, Mosheng is awaken by Yichen’s call, telling her to bring all her official documents and meet with him downstairs. At the Shanghai marriage registration office, the two look like they are filing a divorce rather than filing for marriage. Yichen once again asks her if this is her decision, she can still back out now. The official asks if Mosheng is willing to get married. After they are pronounced lawfully and officially wedded, Yichen gives her the keys to his apartment, his credit card to buy new curtains and leaves for Guangzhou, saying he will return in a week. Mosheng is about to tell her mother about the good news, but stops and calls Xiao Xiao (Viola Mi) instead. She congratulates her, as the only one who knows of their marriage.
Ying Hui (Kevin Tan) is at a photography exhibit where he is reminded of Mosheng. He calls his lawyer and decides he will not submit the divorce papers to court. He decides to attend Zhanghua University’s anniversary gala and make a $30 million donation in his and Mosheng’s name. Xiao Xiao helps Mosheng pack her belongings into boxes to move into Yichen’s apartment. Mosheng only tells Lu Yuanfeng (Yang Le) that she is moving for a personal reason. After settling in, Mosheng notices she has no where else to place some boxes, and calls Yichen to ask. Yichen tells her he has no plans to sleep in separate rooms.
