Kamin (Weir Sukollawat Kanarot) pulls Mattana (Min Pechaya Wattanamontree) to his side of the car to protect her from the angry protesters. He threatens to pull out his gun if they continue. Mattana says he cannot do that. Kamin says he will protect her if she insists on leaving the car. Once she gets out, the protesters and Mattana continue pushing one another. Kamin pulls out his gun so that they would back away. Mattana is in disbelief when one of the protesters tell her that her dad used sneaky tactics to obtain their lands, such as setting houses on fire and injuring them. Mattana says she will hold responsibility for all the damages because her dad would not do such things. The protesters continue to push into the gates of the company. Kamin suspects something is wrong when one of the protesters start backing off upon the arrival of the police. It turns out someone paid people to cause damages to the farmers, resulting in their protest.
In the palace of Raya, Prince Makey (Louis Hesse d’Alzon) continues refusing to eat. Queen Sawitri (Kaew Apiradee) promises him that she will hire the best doctor to treat Krenika (Praewa Praeissarha Pookawanuch) so she can take care of the Prince. The Queen even promises Prince Makey that he can marry Krenika.
Sintorn (Hem Hemmawat Nittayaros) rushes out to give the shawl and necklace back to Hareutai (Tubtim Anyarin Terathanapat). Fearing that the Prince has sent Sintorn to bring her back, she drops the necklace. Their hands meet as both of them try to pick up the necklace. At this time, Chawan (Bon Chernyim) comes calling for Sintorn. Hareutai asks Sintorn not to tell anyone about this. Sintorn and Chawan return to Prince Makey’s room to see him drinking the persimmon soup that Hareutai had prepared for him. Both wonder what Queen Sawitri and Prince Makey spoke about.
A crying Hareutai runs home and tells her mother Taywee (Wattsana Poonpon) that she was almost raped by the Prince. Instead of consulting her, her mother tells her that was what she intended to happen and blames her for not making it happen. General Witoon (Tapakorn Tisayan) comes in to tell them to stop arguing and to get dressed to attend the conference where the princess of Raya would be announced.
King Inthra (Toon Hiransap) realizes that Prince Makey’s earring is missing. Where is the earring? Queen Sawitri gives the earring back to Prince Makey, under one condition: that Hareutai will become his wife. She will allow Krenika to stay in the palace and if she is pregnant, Prince Makey can make her his concubine. At the conference, everyone is shocked to learn that the rumors of Prince Makey marrying a commoner is true. Queen Sawitri calms them down, ready to announce that the true bride-to-be is Hareutai. But before she is able to make the announcement, King Inthra walks in to stop her.
Sintorn tries to get Prince Makey to answer Kamin’s video call, but Prince Makey refuses, saying he has more important things to do. Kamin reveals to Prince Makey that he is actually in Thailand, relaxing. Prince Makey’s joking manner turns into confusion when Kamin tells him he is in Thailand to see Prince Makey’s future bride.
Queen Sawitri tells King Inthra that Prince Makey revealed to her earlier that he is willing to take Hareutai to be his wife. Everyone is at ease upon hearing that. King Inthra says he feels Hareutai would make a good Princess of Raya, but not the next Queen of Raya. He further shocks the whole room in saying he has already arranged a marriage for the Prince.
Taywee forbids her daughter to go to the bathroom, fearing if someone were to congratulate them, they would have to wait for Hareutai to come out of the bathroom. General Witoon walks in madly. Suthep (Arucha Tosamat) tells him that after going through records, he realized that Kamin has been out of the country for days. Taywee is really confused to what is going on.
Back in their room, Queen Sawitri questions King Inthra of this mysterious bride-to-be. The king tells her that she possesses royal blood from her mother, her father is a businessman and a good friend of his, and he has kept a careful eye on her. King Inthra also knows that Prince Makey only sees Hareutai as a younger sister, and thus there is no love between them. The Queen is saddened to hear that King Inthra does not want their son and daughter-in-law to be in a loveless marriage, just like them.
As Mattana is taking a bath, Mintra (Kratip Chawallakorn Wanthanapisitkul) asks her about that night when she pretended to be a punk queen. She imagines herself drowing Mattana when she sinks her head underwater. Mattana’s aunt is at the house once again, complaining that Mattana is ruining their family reputation, just as her mom Manavika (Angsana Buranon) has done so by marrying Thammarath (Trin Settachok). Mattana tells her that she feels no shame as her mom and dad are truly in love. They do not care about social status. Once she hears from Kamin that Mattana is about to become the bride of the Prince, she quickly changes her attitude towards her sister and niece. Kamin smiles and tells Thammarath that the wedding is sure to be grand. At this time Mattana realizes that by revealing to her aunt, it is now official and she cannot back out.
Tears start to roll down Mintra’s face as she looks through the box underneath her bed, remembering two occasions when she, as a little kid, was blamed for Mattana being mischievous. One time Mattana climbed a tree to get back her birdie to play badminton, but fell down. Manavika blames Mintra for not stopping Mattana from climbing the tree. Another time, Mattana almost drowned in the swimming pool. Manavika blames Mintra for not keeping a watchful eye on Mattana.
Mintra calls Akanee (Au Panu Suwanno) and tells him that Mattana is leaving Bangkok in a few days to go to Raya and marry the prince. Akanee turns to his dad for help.
During the meeting, Kamin tells everyone at the table that the Prince of Raya coming must be kept a secret until he actually arrives. Haymon (Moo Poosana Buangam) apologizes for being late. The tires of one of their cars have gone flat. Kamin senses something is wrong. The tires of the car that Mattana usually takes have been poked with by a needle. Instead of waiting for another car to come, Mattana insists on taking the taxi instead. Akanee’s dad’s people take use of this opportunity as Mattana is waving for a taxi. They drug her and place her in the car. Just as they are driving off, Kamin arrives by car. He quickly gets off the car and starts running after the car. Mintra pretends to faint on the streets. He uses another ninja star to deflate one of their tires. Kamin knocks them down before getting into the car to drive an unconscious Mattana away from the alleged kidnappers.
Mattana wakes up and the deflated tire cannot go any farther, so Kamin and Mattana both get off the car and start running away from the bad guys and their firing gunshots. They hide in one of the many shipping crates in an isolated area.
Mintra goes back to the office and puts on a show about being so sorry for not being able to save Mattana. Thammarath tells her not to cry, it was not something that could be controlled. He trusts for Kamin to bring her back safely.
Hearing there is no noise outside, Kamin tries to open the door, only to find that it is locked. Kamin does not have his phone and Mattana had left her phone in the car. They cannot scream for help, fearing the bad guys are still outside. Mattana starts to panic when she cannot breathe well. Kamin tells her not to talk so much, to save her energy, and to keep herself conscious and alert. It is hot and humid in the container. Both of them start to breathe heavily. Mattana says she has never felt so scared before. Kamin puts her hand onto his chest, instructing her to feel his heartbeat, look at his face, and breathe slowly. Kamin says as long as he is breathing, he will make sure she is safe. Both lean forward for a kiss, only to be interrupted by someone opening the door.
Kamin brings Mattana back to the office. Haymon tells them the police are coming to return their lost phones. It is an awkward encounter when both Kamin and Mattana try to grab the same chair to sit on.
That night, Mattana thinks of the kiss as Mintra is combing her hair. Mattana tells her that she cannot express her own feelings. She feels scared and nervous, but at the same time, happy, calm, and warm. When Mintra questions further what did Mattana encounter while she was captured, Mattana answers it must be because she was scared. Mattana questions herself why she is not mad at Kamin. Kamin smiles sweetly as he rethinks back. Awh, they are both in love with one another, without even realizing it! Kamin pops up from his bed, telling himself he must not do this.
With the shining sun the next day, Mattana is standing, waiting for Kamin. Mintra walks over and asks her who is she waiting for. Mattana stretches and replies she needs the sun for Vitamin D. When she sees Kamin’s car, she quickly runs back inside. Kamin is very nervous when Mintra asks what happened between him and Mattana the night before. Mattana paces back and forth inside the house, reminiscing about their kiss. It is an awkward encounter with Kamin when he walks in. Mattana expects him to say something in regards to the kiss, but instead he tells Mattana that she must learn as much as possible of Raya traditions before the Prince arrives. Mintra secretly overhears their conversation from behind the wall, but is called away when a servant tells her that Manavika is looking for her.
Mattana questions Kamin once again if he has anything to say. She does not believe that was an action of a true gentleman, and at the very least he should apologize. Kamin finally apologizes to Mattana, saying he only did so to save her and he is willing to do anything to make it up. Mattana tries to punch and kick Kamin, with Kamin backing away. They start from the inside of the house and end up outside, near the pool. Kamin catches Mattana just before she falls into the pool. Mattana does not give up and continues ‘attacking’ Kamin. Once again, Kamin holds onto her, shocking her. Kamin suggests they should move onto learning something else, instead of wasting time with her ‘attacking’ him.
Prince Makey is about to depart from the palace and head to Thailand. Queen Sawitri walks in to stop him from doing so. To make Hareutai seem sad of the marriage cancellation, Taywee purposely pinches her arm until tears stream down. Sintorn and Phokin (Thitinan Suwansak) ignore the queen, saying this is an order of King Inthra. As Prince Makey continues walking out, Queen Sawitri pretends to faint.
Kamin admires Mattana with a smile as he watches her play a well known Raya song on the piano. Kamin is amazed that she is able to play “Sweet Dreams”, a song that mothers would sing to their children before they sleep. Mattana asks if Kamin heard that song from his mother, but is shocked to learned that he was an orphan. Kamin also tells her that he is willing to do anything for the king, even if he has to die. Mattana demonstrates her piano skills, playing a funky song and singing a pop song. Kamin tells her she cannot do this anymore, fearing the citizens of Raya would all have a heart attack if they see their future queen like this. Mattana believes they would be happy to have such a lively queen. Kamin says it would be their honor, and his too.
Kamin makes Mattana rehearse walking down the stairs to greet the prince. They also practice dancing. Mattana straightforwardly tells Kamin she wants to learn more about him rather than about the prince. When Kamin spins Mattana and catches her, he excuses himself.
Taywee scolds Hareutai when she suggests Queen Sawitri not to use lipstick when she is unwell. Thinking Prince Makey came to see her, the Queen goes back to bed to fake her illness. Instead it is Bulan (Yam Runganda Benjamatikul) who comes in to see the Queen, only for her to knock the cup of tea off the tray, injuring Hareutai as well. When Queen Sawitri jumps up to complain, King Inthra stares right back at her, noting she is only pretending to be sick. The Queen once again asks why must the King look for a daughter-in-law from Thailand. The King confidently answers because ladies from Thailand are caring and Mattana is definitely a smart young lady. The Queen leaves the King speechless when she asks if he has taken a Thai woman as a wife before.
Just when Kamin is sweetly reminiscing about his dance with Mattana, Phokin calls to notify him that Prince Makey will arrive in Thailand in the afternoon.
The kiss was a total surprise and the dance was added bonus. We can see that Mattana and Kamin are slowly falling for each other, but Kamin is reluctant to admit it because he must fulfill his duties. Mintra is a true villain. I almost see a burning fire of anger in her eyes. I pity Hareutai; always getting abused and ordered around by her mother.
