In Episode 27 of The Hippocratic Crush II, Che Che (Eliza Sam) organizes a farewell party for her closest friends. Her boyfriend, Onion (Him Law) does not know of her illness yet.
Her friend, Doctor Heung (Tracy Chu) gives her a pot of orchids as a symbol of blessing.
She’s set out all the food and decorations, but due to bad weather, she sacrifices all her preparations for the housemen.
Because Che Che gave up the space where she was going to hold her party, she moves to have it at her dad’s office instead. Although she does not have decorations and food at the party, she is happy that all the people she cares about and loves are present. Although her life is short, she is glad she lived life to its fullest. She does not want them to be sad after she leaves the world. If they were to cry, she wants their sadness to flow down and be gone, just like their tears.
Yat Kin Tau (Kenneth Ma) and Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) find out about this farewell party from Siu Jie (Gigi Wong) and join in.
Che Che blows out the candles in the dark room. This is the end of the party.
Siu Jie brings Che Che outside, a little surprise for her.
Her group of friends are all holding a candle in one hand and a picture of themselves in the other hand.
One by one, they walk up to her and hand her a picture of themselves.
And one by one, it gets to Onion (Him Law). He had just found out that his girlfriend has a terminal illness.
