Episode 19: Doctor Heung 向芊兒 (Tracy Chu)“I know. I know my [stepson] needs me. I know my parents need me. But I am very tired. After my boyfriend left my side, it seems like I lost all direction. I do not have a reason to live anymore… But if I were to choose again, I wouldn’t want to be a human being again. It’s too tiring.”
-Doctor Heung (Tracy Chu) comes to Lokman’s (Lawrence Ng) café because she, like him, has insomnia. She tells him she has no intentions of committing suicide, but she is tired to living life. She knows she has friends and family, but she is just tired. It is true. Living as a human can be very tiring, because there is so much to think about and so much to do.
Episode 20: David Mo 慕容衛 (Jerry Koo Ming Wah)“I’m not scared of death. I was tricking your dad and Auntie Moon before. You know how those two never get along. I want to take this opportunity to resolve their issues. I want to kill two birds with one stone. You know Doctor Heung, if I can pull together her and your dad, that would be perfect!”
-David Mo (Jerry Koo Ming Wah) puts on an act when he discovers he has a tumor in his brain. It has not been tested to see if it is benign or cancerous, but he pretends that he does not want to seek a doctor. This puts Moon (Louisa So), Lokman (Lawrence Ng), and Yannis (Elkie Chong) to be concern. However, Yannis soon discovers that this is all part of his plan to end conflicts with Moon and Lokman, as well as to bring Lokman and Doctor Heung (Tracy Chu) together. It is nice to see that he still thinks for others even though he might have brain cancer.
Episode 21: Lokman 洛文笙 (Lawrence Ng)“Last time, the windbell’s chimes saved your life and that was a miracle. This time, this piano is another miracle. But, how many more miracles do you need until you will realize that you can have good health, a heartbeat, be able to breathe, be able to see sunrise and sunset, be able to hear the sound of winds and the sound of ocean waves on the world? This is already God’s biggest gift to you. Your boyfriend has already died. No matter what signals he gives you or if he is your guardian angel, you still have to live on. Actually, you have a lot of guardian angels around you, like your parents, your relatives, your co-workers, your friends.”
-Lokman (Lawrence Ng) unintentionally finds Doctor Heung’s (Tracy Chu) old piano, which brings back memories of her and her deceased boyfriend. This causes her to continue to think that her boyfriend is still here, guarding her. But, Lokman tells her that it is time to move on. Life goes on after death. She needs to consider all the people that care about her, like her family and her friends.
Episode 22: Yue Jai 范子妤 (Tavia Yeung)“Today, Mei Suet asked me if I minded that after marriage my husband stopped thinking of small things to surprise me and make me happy. I said I am already very fortunate to be able to spend time with my husband. This love does not need any surprises, because this is what I believe in. Sometimes, I do want my husband to think of small things to surprise me, because that is quite sweet. But we did not experience the stage of dating before marriage. This can be said at the only little thing I regret.”
-Yat Kin (Kenneth Ma) finds Yue Jai’s (Tavia Yeung) diary in a bottom drawer when he returns home, after Yue Jai accepts him again. He reads that Yue Jai wants to experience the dating stage, because they proceeded to marriage before they dated. Yat Kin plans to court her so she can feel this sense of sweetness.
Episode 23: Mei Suet 洪美雪 (Mandy Wong)“Today, Ah Ting informed me that Amber went into the hospital again. I don’t know if she is really ill or just pretending to be sick. But, I cannot agree with you indirectly allowing her to do so. It is no longer important to me whether you will take care of her or not. What matters is, as a doctor and a girlfriend, my reasoning tell me that all you’ve done are against my morals and standards. We are too far apart. We cannot go back. I hope we can stay friends in the future.”
-Although Ben (Benjamin Yuen) knows that Amber (Grace Wong) has Munchausen Syndrome, instead of telling her to seek help from a psychologist, he allows her to be, so she can be kept under his watch. Mei Suet (Mandy Wong) can no longer stand this, as she believes this has gone over her moral standards. She writes a breakup email to Ben and a while later, she heads to England, with no exact date of when she will return.
Yat Kin (Kenneth Ma) decides to court Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) again. Mei Suet (Mandy Wong) breaks it off with Ben (Benjamin Yuen). Next week is the last week of episodes. Much is yet to happen!
