In episode 23 of The Hippocratic Crush II, Amber (Grace Wong) decides to go back to New York to treat her Munchausen Syndrome. She parts ways with Ben (Benjamin Yuen) and encourages him to get Mei Suet (Mandy Wong) back, or she would really feel regretful. Instead of doing so, Ben drinks himself to drunk every night and even falls down the stairs when he learns that Mei Suet is headed to England.
Amber (Grace Wong) finally leaves and promises Ben (Benjamin Yuen) that upon returning to New York, she will seek help from a psychologist.
Ben drinks himself to be drunk every night.
Mei Suet (Mandy Wong) leaves to go to the airport, headed to England. She gives no date to when she will return.
Ben calls Siu Yet (Derek Kwok) to come out to have a few drinks, but he is in a meeting in China, so he cannot come. He asks Ben where he is so Yat Kin (Kenneth Ma) can come get him.
Ben receives a call from Ah Ting (Crystal Li) that Mei Suet is leaving that night. He is devastated.
He rushes to go down the stairs.
But he stumbles and falls.
Luckily, a passerby sends him to the hospital. If not, he would have been in the surgery room, with Yat Kin operating on him, as Yat Kin warns him at the hospital.
