These are from episode 20 of The Hippocratic Crush II. Ben (Benjamin Yuen) and Mei Suet (Mandy Wong) started on this bridge. Mei Suet finds that Ben’s ex-girlfriend Amber (Grace Wong) has Munchausen Syndrome, where a patient with some medical knowledge will take different injections and medications to get sick so they can seek attention from other people. Ben does not believe in this fact though. And here they are, parting ways from this same bridge. So heartbreaking!
They walk the bridge silently. Ben reminisces how they had started on this bridge.
Mei Suet tells Ben that she knows about his past with Amber (Grace Wong).
Mei Suet tells Ben that she knows he was the third party and had indirectly caused Amber’s ex-fiance into committing suicide.
Ben tells her that at that time he was still young. He saw each love relationship as a game.
Ben knows this may be the only time he can make it up to Amber.
Mei Suet tells Ben that he should not be allowing Amber to do this. He should advise her to go see a psychologist.
Ben fails to acknowledge this fact and begs Mei Suet to stop investigating upon this.
Mei Suet tells him to go back to the hospital to continue comforting Amber. She can go home by herself.
At first Ben starts to chase after her.
But, then he stops.
He stands there and watches her walk the opposite direction.
Mei Suet turns back to see if he had followed her.
But, she is obviously disappointed that he hasn’t done so.
