-It’s the first episode and the drama is rolling in. There’s a suspected case of mutated H5N1, which everyone on the bus in the car collision and any medical staff in the hospital who helped have to be isolated in the hospital. Yat Kin Tau’s (Kenneth Ma) wife, Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) is part of the group being isolated. In another case, an elderly woman passes away after having a complicated heart attack after having surgery after falling down the stairs. Everyone is sad that the elderly woman dies because they have been monitoring her and instructing her not to eat before her surgery. Yat Kin Tau tells them deaths cannot be avoided, but the least they can do is not to affect the feelings of others, just as how bacteria does.
-Yeung Chon (Him Law) sees Che Che (Eliza Sam) in the morning and they run together. She tells him that she’s on working holiday after she graduated in Australia. Yeung Chon refers to Ching Ching (Candy Cheung). He wants her to be his girlfriend, but she is not ready yet, so they are at the stage past good friends, but not yet lovers.
Episode 03: Yue Jai 范子妤 (Tavia Yeung)“You really love him that much? No matter sadness or happiness, you wish to stay by his side and be with him? You won’t leave him even if you know he could be unwell? You won’t give up on him, you won’t leave him?”
-Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) and Yat Kin Tau (Kenneth Ma) console the bickering pair (Moon Law and Rachel Poon), who are on the verge of breakup. This offers insights on how they see a love relationship. Both Yue Jai and Yat Kin Tau know they should cherish their other half, as Yue Jai’s tumor can come back at any time.
Episode 04: Yat Kin Tau 張一健 (Kenneth Ma)“I want the baby too. But if it requires sacrificing you, I rather give [it] up. You are my wife. There is nothing in the world that is worth exchanging you for.”
-Yat Kin Tau (Kenneth Ma) and Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) have married and she is two months pregnant, but unfortunately, her tumor down her spine might be back and she will have to undergo radiology. Before she can undergo the process, she must abort the baby. She does not want to , but Yat Kin Tau, who knows this pregnancy can potentially lead to the death of his wife, tells her they are still young. They can try to have another baby after her illness is under control.
Episode 05: Yue Jai 范子妤 (Tavia Yeung)“I’ve decided to abort the baby… I don’t want to let go, but I still have to, for you and me. I hope the baby won’t blame us. In the future, no matter what obstacles we face, we must be like this model we made: handing our hands together to get through it.”
-Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung) decides that she should abort the baby because she needs to consider Yat Kin Tau’s (Kenneth Ma) feelings too. He has been worried about her, and even if when he disagreed on keeping the baby, he still supported Yue Jai’s decision.
The sequel has started out quite well. I do feel bad for Yat Kin Tau (Kenneth Ma) and Yue Jai (Tavia Yeung). They went through so much, and yet, even with the baby, they must give it up because Yue Jai’s illness is back to haunt them. Their only options are: to have the baby and risk Yue Jai’s life or to give up the baby so Yue Jai can undergo treatment. Almost all the episodes have been tearjerkers so far. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for this series!
