Episode 16: Manna (Michelle Yim)“Life is like a ferris wheel. If this round is not what you wanted, then wait for the next one! How do you know the next round won’t present a beautiful landscape in front of you? ”
-Once again, Holiday (Fala Chen) questions Sam (Francis Tong) whether he has something that he is afraid to tell anyone else (the fact that he was not with his wife Zoe when she passed away). Manna (Michelle Yim), Holiday’s mother goes to comfort him. She has seen his ups and downs, but mostly his downs when he stubbornly would not go back to Hong Kong unless he recreated the cake that Zoe was willing to eat.
Episode 17: Summer (Myolie Wu)
“Actually, I chose to repair airplanes because of you. It’s because I hope to see every plane’s takeoff to bring back their closest relatives to each person. I don’t want to lose you. You are my only relative left. YOU ARE REALLY THE WORLD’S WORST OLDER BROTHER. But, I forgive you.”
-Upon knowing that Summer (Myolie Wu) was assaulted by a pilot, Jayden (Chilam Cheung) chases the pilot by car and punches him. This results in him being penalized by the airline company. He cannot fly planes for the time being. He goes to the platform to watch planes take off and land. Summer finds out and goes to find him there. Jayden tries to talk to Summer one last time, to say that it is okay if she doesn’t forgive him. Just as he walks off, Summer calls him back and they finally reconcile their siblingship.
Episode 18: Coco (Nancy Wu)
“I chose this path. You were forced [to take this path]. Of course, I understand. This situation is rather hard to accept. But, I cannot force you to change yourself for who you are [and your values] for me. Sorry, I’ve hurt you. But, I thank you for caring and loving me for so long. Your appearance is the best thing that’s happened in my life.”
-Coco (Nancy Wu) has decided to help Colby (Candice Chiu) and her dying fiancee Victor (Stephen Wong) by carrying their baby. This disapponts Coco’s fiancee Nick (Hugo Wong). Although they still love one another, they are forced to break up due to their different values. As Coco is about to fly to the US for procedures to carry the baby, Victor comes to say his final farewells, as when she comes back, their relationship will no longer be the same.
Episode 19: Summer (Myolie Wu)
“You have to use double the energy when you want to speed ahead. This results in hurting yourself and your teammate[s]… Use my speeds and rates as an example to set your bike speed, your respiratory rate, and your heart rate to be the same as mine. We will naturally be able to simultaneously ride at the rates of each other’s rates.”
-Issac (Ron Ng) subs in for one of Summer’s (Myolie Wu) teammate for an upcoming bike race. During their training, Issac unintentionally speeds off. People on the team think Issac has no team spirit, as if he is in an individual race instead. Summer teaches him what it means to be in a team.
Episode 20: Heather (Elena Kong)
“You’re always comparing your two girlfriends to one another. Sometimes you say the first is better. At other times, you say the second one is better. True love cannot be calculated in a formula or be weighed. It depends on your feelings.”
-Unknowingly, Heather (Elena Kong) has became a mentor for Roy (Kenneth Ma) and his double-dating problems with Phyllis (Coffee Lam) and Joanne (Skye Chan). All three are boarded on the plane to Taiwan. Heather persuades him to break it off with both as he is unable to reach a decision, as it seems like he does not truly love either.
